Dr. Muhammad Tariq is a graduate of Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore (1983). He joined Pak Army after house job from Services hospital. He completed his Membership in Anaesthesia (1989) and Fellowship (1991) from CPSP. He moved to UK for training in Thoracic Anaesthesia and Intensive Care (1993-1994). He worked as consultant anaesthesiologist different stations including Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He retired from Army service in 2017 from CMH Lahore and joined Kaul Associates in September 2017.
Dr. Tariq has a vast experience in managing different kinds of patients in Anaesthesia speciality. He had the honour of becoming supervisor in 1997 and examiner in 2001. He has been an examiner, paper setter and convener for different fellowship exams held by CPSP. He finds teaching a noble profession and has profound experience in imparting medical education to aspiring students.
Dr. Tariq aspires to bring improvement in the healthcare provided to patients. He has also participated in numerous workshops regarding a variety of topics such as Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). He believes that quality healthcare is a right of every person and bad outcomes can be prevented if proper critical care is provided under proper supervision at the proper time.
Dr. Tariq is fulfilling these aspirations as a senior consultant of Anaesthesiology in Kaul Associates. His visions of proper healthcare for all, proper critical and intensive care, and of better quality care are being fulfilled at Kaul. He wishes to continue his passionate work in Anaesthesiology, Intensive Care and teaching with the same zeal and zest.
